Discovery synthesis and applications of new nanomaterials

  Our group is devoted to pioneering a new field by synthesizing unprecedented colloidal nanocrystals and tailoring their optical and electrical properties for (opto)electronics applications. Our starting point would be experimentally finding a new lead-free perovskite material, but our target is not limited to that. Surface-engineered MXene is one of the materials that we are interested in. We are trying to find an undiscovered, next-generation material that may boost the fields of optoelectronics. 

  Furthermore, we seek to find a good way to take advantage of Machine Learning to expedite the synthesis of new materials as well as the device engineering process.
